Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief When various Weather, Natural and Man-Made Disasters strike, people are often found to have lost everything they may own.
Families who once had a house, all its contents and their family treasures, their vehicles, family pets, and even sometimes other family members may be lost, all in mere seconds. Often times, whole neighborhoods or towns may be destroyed, leaving dozens, or even hundreds at a loss for anything meaningful left in their lives. Lives are forever changed in an instant when these type disasters strike. It is at times like these when people are found to be in the greatest need. Local, County, State, and Federal Resources are overwhelmed and over-burdened. Man-Power and Resources are stretched thin.
ALERT 1 WEATHER regularly dedicates a large portion of its activities, services, resources, and man-power to helping these people in their time of need. We evaluate each event and the needs and decide our best course of action to reach out to help these people. Through our various staff and volunteer services and other resources, we provide aid such as; clothing, food, shelter, emergency medical and prescription aid, and emergency funds to help carry these people over until they can start to rebuild their lives.
